Hi @Beagle19

Welcome to the EE Community

Our 4G service is still active and current 4G SIM cards also work with 5G. We don't have a programme in place to proactively contact customers to replace SIM cards.

Do you have the telephone number you received the call from?

If you're concerned about unsolicited contact from other companies, you can visit Avoid-and-prevent-scams how to block and prevent these.

I’ve had this two days in row,

the telephone number was 020 4578 3183

I asked them to send a text to confirm it was EE they said they were going to but never.
considering my phone is brand new I knew it was suspicious

I filpped on the guy he said he could cancel my contract for being abusive I then give him a few kind words a multiple four letter ones and hanged up

To EE how do the scammers know what network I’m on have there been a data breach that you not telling customers about????

I had the same phone call, and soon realise they wanted the six digits code which is EE send so that you can change your password. I realise someone had changed my password and I quickly contacted EE and changed it back to a new one. Nothing was ordered from my account, so I’m wondering why they would want to get into my account. Is it because of identity theft as they can get the name and address email address and phone number and also your date of birth. If someone has done that, how can I protect myself from that?
