Hi is anyone else getting messages supposed to be from EE  saying they've got thousands of rewards points that's going to be  lost in 2 days if they dont  click on the link to spend them?

Hi @HVMK

Are you forwarding the original message when sending it to 7726?

Katie

First I tried that and it wouldn't send to that number.

So I took a screenshot and it said that mms could not be delivered to that number.

Just got message from this number +447742498491 that said I have 5400 points to l redeem in 3days or those them. Seen a few other posts whis have received same message. Never completed any info but was suspicious straight away.

There's been a few similar posts recently, the giveaway is that an EE promotion would refer to their website ee.co.uk - which this doesn't.

You can report this text by forwarding to 7726 (SPAM on your phone's keypad)

They've contacted me twice

07523 612894 and 07523 256708

I tried to report as scam to Google. They said the forward it to your carrier and there is a charge. Is that too a scam?

@B_byrne : There's no charge for forwarding the texts to 7726.
