Message scam about rewards points from EE

Hi is anyone else getting messages supposed to be from EE saying they've got thousands of rewards points that's going to be lost in 2 days if they dont click on the link to spend them?

First I tried that and it wouldn't send to that number.
So I took a screenshot and it said that mms could not be delivered to that number.

Just got message from this number +447742498491 that said I have 5400 points to l redeem in 3days or those them. Seen a few other posts whis have received same message. Never completed any info but was suspicious straight away.

There's been a few similar posts recently, the giveaway is that an EE promotion would refer to their website ee.co.uk - which this doesn't.
You can report this text by forwarding to 7726 (SPAM on your phone's keypad)

I tried to report as scam to Google. They said the forward it to your carrier and there is a charge. Is that too a scam?
