Message scam about rewards points from EE

Hi is anyone else getting messages supposed to be from EE  saying they've got thousands of rewards points that's going to be  lost in 2 days if they dont  click on the link to spend them?

a moment of brain dead syndrome but like me you sorted it, nice one. Stay

This number texted me I was about to click on it but thought  NO something in my head told me not to I'm glad I didn't after reading these messages from other members thanks guys

I received a message telling me I have EE rewards points!  Unfortunately before realising it's a scam I clicked the link!  Am I in danger of fraud now, what can they get from this?  Very worried 😫

@Steeeeeee : As long as you just clicked the link & nowt more you'll be OK. It's only when you start filling in their Qs that you give yourself away.

I would contact your bank and explain what's happened. I did this morning and they cancelled my card

As long as you didn't enter of details on to it you should be fine, on the
hand if you have then please contact your bank and advise them of what has
happened also you can report this to EE as well
