Hope this helps I use a android mobile so don't know if it's different for iPhones ect. Before doing this I often write the number down that sent the suspect message.

To forward a message to 7726:

  • Open the message app.
  • Go to the message you want to forward.
  • Copy the number down that sent the message (I write it down myself).
  • Tap and hold on the message.
  • Tap on the three dots (normally top right).
  • Select forward.
  • Then select new message and type 7726.
  • Now hit send.
  • You will receive a message asking you to reply with the number that sent you the text message.
  • Type the number you copied ( one you wrote down)
  • Hit send again.

You will receive a confirmation message.

Had the same issue today, don't follow it through... had a apple pay device set its self up on my account and had to go through the banks fraud department to get it removed!

Bloody scams!

Allways time for a joke 🤣 and this time it was me don't no why wasn't thinking straight today because I'm straight on this kind of stuff.

but I fell for it well and truly scammed I didn't click or register 😂 free  smart watch for 5000 points and 1p 😂 filled in all my details for delivery and bank details when EE would have all of this already.

still not registered in my brain as scam hit continue nice thank you go to the EE app to redeem gift as you would think nader zilch nothing.

Then received a email from my bank saying thank you for setting up your apple pay account then my brain clicked and said f#@k sake.

Lucky spoke to bank in time no money was taken had to report my card as stolen and and the apple pay got deactivated from my account.

Remember kids don't be like me read the message first 👍which by the looks of it you have 😂 so just me then.

Yes I had one today and when you cluck the link it says page cannot load so I'm assuming it's a scam

Hi just got one. I called EE customer service and was told it was a legitimate service. I think the customer service advisor needs some training!
