Message scam about rewards points from EE

Hi is anyone else getting messages supposed to be from EE  saying they've got thousands of rewards points that's going to be  lost in 2 days if they dont  click on the link to spend them?

@Donna154 , @Rebexie : It's a scam! There are many of these going the rounds. 

Report it to your network provider by forwarding the text to 7726 (S.P.A.M. on your keypad).

That domain, faked to look like EE, was only created today in California.

Yes I've had 6 or 7 in the last few days, I've reported them all as Spam but still they keep coming. What I was wondering is what the relevant authorities do or can do to stop this as I report them but next day different number same scam😔

@Raw3   It’s a scam and has nothing to do with EE.   Forward the text to 7726 and then the number when prompted.

Its difficult to explain what the authorities are doing, but simply put
they are using the host companies like buzz etc to create algorithms that
make it easier to track and then stop this type of thing from happening.
Unfortunately I expect this type of crime to escalate as the world gets
poorer and people become increasingly desperate. Some people view us as
'rich' even though we may be 1000's in debt.

I seem to have got all these text after my phone call with ee the other day 4 so far this week all different numbers and had a phone call yesterday from a number claiming to be ee
