I’ve recieved the following email;
Hi there,
We’re looking for customers to help us with a new mobile network trial. All you need is an active personal EE mobile service and if you have an iOS device, be willing to sign up to receive a new build of Apple software on your phone.
The trial will start early August and run until late September, for the trial you would just use your mobile as normal and complete feedback forms each day to let us know what activity you’ve been doing that day with your mobile service.
We won’t change your plan, allowances, or benefits, we’ll simply add access to our trial network. Providing you complete the feedback forms we would give you a £25 credit on your EE account as a thank you for helping us.
To register your interest please click on the opportunity link at the very bottom of this email. Clicking on the Opportunity lower down will open into our trial database where you will need to create a new user account and then complete the interest form for the trial.
Once you’ve registered you may also be invited to join other exciting trials for new products and services. It’s a chance to help us enhance and learn whilst you enjoy using our new products and services before anyone else.
If you have any friends or family that would like to take part, please share this invitation with them.
Kind regards
Consumer Test and Trial Team

Hello,

Many thanks

should you accept this who ever it’s from it’ll install a profile on your device, This is a big no no as that would mean someone can potentially access your device information. If it was from EE/BT they know what device you are using so they wouldn’t be asking “ if you use an iOS devices”. plus that simple fact EE/BT do not push out any iOS updates they are only from Apple. No network world wide pushes out iOS updates or firmware for an iOS device.
More important you’re with EE not BT this screams scam.
