Does anyone know if you can disable the floating icon, please? I can't see the use for it and it is always in the way or obscuring a part of the phone screen.
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Hi guys, the answer is the following:
The floating shield is meant to be an Accessibilty shortcut enabled by Cyber Security in the settings of the phone itself, under Accessibilty.
I have switched it off (second settings in screenshot below) and icon is gone!! Life is good again.

Hi @1eeUser
What device do you have?
Is this one of your apps?
Thanks

It's the EE cyber security app from Norton. I have added this to my new plan with a pixel 7 plus phone.
Anyone else on this forum use this? It produces this floating "shield" right across my screen that I have to keep moving out of the way. I can't figure out in the settings where to disable this.
Any help is appreciated 😀

@1eeUser , have you checked the settings for the app? I do not have it, personally, but there may be something in the settings you can change.
