07369734047- Is this a scam?

I've been contacted by text on 07369734047 stating my EE bill could not be processed and to provide my payment details. All other text communication has come via EE only ( no number) . Is this a scam?

@JanetFarmer36  It’s a scam.   I assume there is a link for you to follow in that text ? EE wouldn’t text you and provide a link to update payment information. 

  Just forward the text to 7726 ( SPAM ) and the number when prompted.
