temp number showing on texts months after imported number samsung galaxy s21

hello there,

I ported my number over from giffgaff a few months ago but when i text certain people it is still showing as the temp number the sim came with, when i look at the about this phone section and the sim information it is showing as the temp number also.

i can't edit the number on these sections, is there any way to ge tthis fixed?

Does the same happen if you call these numbers? 

Are you using the Samsung messaging app or a third party/chat app?

hi,

its just on texts as far as i can tell.

It seem as though it is only I use the samsung messaging app, but like i say when i look at the about phone section, that is showing as teh temp number and when i look at the sim information its showing as the temp also.
