just moved across to EE, phone cannot make calls or connect to internet

When exactly is "just" that you moved to EE? Does your phone show coverage indicators?

hi, esim was activated today, phone has not worked since moved over from vodafone to ee; network coverage looks ok; there is just no functionality - cannot make any calls

Did you order a new phone or just a SIM only? How did you download the EE eSIM, was this in your EE account or by scanning a QR code you were sent?
