I am with sky and transferred to EE. Had email with temp mobile number while I wait for number to switch over. Been told to download eSIM. When I click Link product and input EE mobile number it said sent code to mobiles??? I can’t see it as not activated sim !!! Am giving up the will

Welcome to the community.
It does sound like something isn't going right if you aren't able to access the eSIM.
If you give our customer service guides a call from another phone, and they can help to get your account linked so you can then access the eSIM.
