keep an old number onto my new contract

my contract has ended,i want to keep my number on my new ee phone,customer service are sayin i need to buy a pay as u go phone and simm card,why should it cost me the numbers already mine

Resolved! Converting to esim? Forget it! Impossible!

Tried via myEE app. Only the pin they send you to activate it NEVER works. Then tried via the MyEE website. Keeps saying QR Code done a no-show - refresh page. Does nothingNow the app won't even let me download - says an error has occurredNote to EE:...
