PAC code "in wrong format" but looks right to me!

I have just switched from BT to EE for 5 different family phones.When I try and use the PAC codes from BT which are in the format 3 letters and then 6 numbers I get an error saying that the PAC code is in the wrong format and should be like ABC123456...

T-mobile USA do a multiSim service that allows you to use the same number on 2 different phones. (1) Is this available in the UK (2) will 2fa like google authenticator work correctly on BOTH phones?
