New sim

I've just ordered a new sim. Will it automatically charge this lower monthly amount after I put it in my phone or do I need to cancel my old sim. I will be keeping the same number

Thanks for coming here. 

Have you ordered a new contract SIM card? 

If so, this would be a new number if you have not upgraded your current contract and could not be transferred to your existing number.

@Sharon333  If you ordered a new sim and not an upgrade you will need to call customer services a terminate your old contract.   

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
