Connect a data-only SIM to the account

I'm been trying to connect my data-only SIM card to my EE account, but it requires entering a mobile number, which the data-only SIM does not have (also no number mentioned in the "comfirmation email"). Is it possible to actually do that?

Resolved! Reactivate a disabled SIM

I lost my EE SIM so bought a new one. However I have now found the original SIM. I'm told it may have been deactivated due to not being in use (haven't tested it yet). Will I be able to get it reactivated if I insert the old SIM in my phone?
