Sim not working

Resolved! Upgrade Sim - will it include data roaming?

HiI am on a SIM only contract (from December 2020) and am looking to upgrade to a new SIM only deal.If I upgrade to a 12 month Essential plan will I have to buy an add on to use my phone in the EU??
