Not registred to network

My sim worked fine for a year and now it is not working... no data... no text or calls. I cannot even call ee to sort this out. It just said not registered to network.

iPhone 15 Pro setup with Sim or Quick start setup eSim

Is it best to insert the sim from the previous phone (iPhone8) or transfer to an eSim in Quick Start set up?Thanks
