hello,
I'm currently looking into getting a phone + sim on contract, but I wanted to know if it was possible to keep my same number. my current sim is not under contract but it's a part of my parent's friends and family thing. just wanted to know if it would be possible. thanks.

Which network is your phone currently with? If it's with EE, is it on PAYG or pay-monthly?

My sim right now is with EE, and it’s a pay monthly one.

Thanks for coming here.
If the number is on pay monthly to keep the number the account holder would need to call us on 150 and ask for a change of ownership for the number. The team would also need to speak to you and complete a credit check. Once the number has been transferred you can upgrade keeping the number 🙂

We are unable to transfer a pay monthly number to a new EE pay monthly mobile number. The new contract would have a new number as this has not been an upgrade on the existing number and account.
To discuss your options for the new contract please call us on 150.
