Why is my phone saying no sim?

I’ve had no problems before have had ee and this phone for years all of sudden today it is saying no sim? How do I fix this?

@Anna168  try cleaning the Sim card but you might need to request a replacement Sim card if that one has gone faulty. You can do this by calling customer services or you can go to the store with photo ID and request a replacement Sim card there
