Hi, I recently changed my sim to esim on my iphone13, and then lost volte. It does CSFB to 3G/2G every time I make a voice call.

Silly question maybe, but... Have you checked that you have VoLTE enabled for your new SIM in the iPhone settings?:

Make sure there is a tick against "Voice & Data"

Thank you. No, it is not a silly question at all.
Unfortunately, I don't seem to have a Cellular option in the Settings. I had a look at the Voice &Data option under "mobile data"of my esim, and it is set to 5G auto. Volte worked well with my physical sim. But I don't remember any settings I changed to enable Volte on my physical sim.

Had the same issue on a Pixel 7. Following a lengthy chat with tech support I can confirm that there's a known problem with the 4G profile at EE's end when switching to an eSIM. I think he said 3rd March the issue was first logged so I'd not expect it to be fixed any time soon. They're posting out a physical SIM to get me back onto VoLTE.
Lesson: stick with physical SIMs and don't consider eSIM a valid "dual SIM" functionality in a handset.

Just started working for me now!
Don't know if it's a coincidence that I inserted a 1p mobile SIM and activated the APN on it (I'm going away for the weekend and my physical SIM only just dispatched today), but I noticed the EE sim connecting to band 20 while I was setting up 1p. Took my 1p mobile SIM out, reverted to the EE eSim and made a call on 4G... Which stayed on 4G... and my signal app says band 20 800mhz.
Maybe a massive coincidence and they fixed it just on time.

Did you manage to find a fix for this? I have the same situation except it did not happen immediately after changing to an eSIM, it took a while to present itself (or perhaps I just never noticed as I was on wifi or dismissed it as a one off).
Is the only fix to change back to a physical SIM card?

For me it just magically started working. I'd give it a few days to a week and see if it does the same. Looking back, I noticed it when playing with a 1p mobile SIM in the physical slot but this may have been a coincidence
