Transfering numer from giffgaff to EE

Doru29

Hi. I just transferred from giffgaff to EE in the shop with a customer adviser.

I charged the sim with £10 to buy a plan. When I checked my amount on the app i have £9.80 without using the sim. And I tried to choose a plan with that amount and I don't have the option. I have the option to top up using my card. I don't want.

I just want to use my balance to top up.

Can anyone help,please?

Thank you!

What does texting AL to 150 from your no. fully report verbatim (it is free)?

Hi @Doru29, welcome to the EE Community!

We'd certainly not expect you to have credit taken if you've not used your SIM yet.

Just to be sure, did you try calling 150 at any point, or send any texts?

Peter

Hi,

I just did . This is the response.

Your current balance as of today 14:01 is £9.80. Your last top up was £10.00 on 28/02/2025 at 15:36. For more info on your packs, add-ons or free boosts, go to the EE app or ee.co.uk

For info on our other Text Services, reply HELP or go to ee.co.uk/textservices

A text to 150 is free but calling isn't. Have you called 150 at all?
