I recently ordered 4 SIM cards, 1 of which was to replace my daughter's giff gaff PAYG SIM which has a number I wanted to keep (the other 3 were for brand new devices with no existing numbers). I provided EE with the PAC code from giffgaff but the number has not tranferred - after about 10 days. I'm not sure how these things work - would one of the 4 SIMS been linked to the old number and it's possible I chose the wrong new SIM to put into my daughter's phone? I can't seem to get hold of anyone to talk to and have tried about 5 different 150 options...

@Kirsty_Writer You first need to check all the SIM cards in case the number is on one of them. You can not change numbers on Sim cards without one of them lines being terminated.

All the SIMs have new numbers, none has the existing number from my daughters previous giffgaff PAYG SIM. By asking for a number to be transferred & providing EE with the PAC, shouldn’t the change to the old number happen automatically?
should I try the other new SIMS in my daughters phone one by one, & give each 24 hours to see if the change to the old number happens? Wish there was someone to talk to - v frustrating!

If you call 150 and follow the options for technical support, they'll be able to help you. There's also a live chat for pay monthly customers on our get in touch help page.

If you're calling CS, use whichever option is closest to your query - if that gets you into the queue for a CS agent.
