trying to transfer my giffgaff number to ee

I'm trying to transfer my phone number from giffgaff to ee but every time it just says 'Please make sure you enter the right phone number. It must be a UK phone number and start with 07.' which my ee number is a UK phone number and does start with 07 and its not incorrect because I'm copying it off the paper that came with my sim card.

i also cant connect my sim card to my ee account as well.

Have you made a call or sent a text from the new EE SIM card? 

Did you supply the PAC when you ordered the SIM?
