@Gaheez Once you've received your SIM from EE, get your STAC from your current network & give it to EE using Fill out this quick form to transfer your number .

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

Hi @Gaheez

If you don't want to keep the number, please call the other network to cancel the contract and not use the number on your new EE account.

Leanne.

Hi @velyagoscar,

Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂

How can we help today? Are you in the process of switching to EE?

James

Thank you.  I've found that and filled it in for my similar problem.  O2 had not actioned my telephoned request to close my account, and EE chat suggested a 50 minute wait.  I'd searched the EE site while logged in to find out what to do with a STAC code, but that page had not appeared.

For others reading this thread: That page is mis-titled "keep your number" and yet when you fill it in, it offers to take your PAC code to keep your old number, or your STAC code to cancel your old number.

Thanks for the feedback and for letting other customers know @OfCourse

Leanne 🙂

Except that it failed!  I have now had a text from EE telling me so, and to phone 150 - which required me to do a "visual check" before letting me ring again; and there is an indeterminate wait!   Why is the help line not properly staffed?  How can it ALWAYS be that you are receiving a very high number of calls? And why is the music so awful?

I don't have time for this.

I am sorry to hear this @OfCourse

The team will get this sorted when they are available and make this as quick as possible for you.

Leanne.
