I am considering to transfer my existing mobile number to EE. May I know if I can simply buy a new EE PAYG sim from Superstore and use that new sim to do the transfer using this page : https://myaccount.ee.co.uk/keeping-your-number

Thank You. I just bought the new sim. May I know if I have to activate the new sim (i.e. add balance) before filling the form (https://myaccount.ee.co.uk/keeping-your-number)?

You need to activate it in the UK by making a call or text but a free service text to 150 will do.

Thank You. I inserted the sim and then i text "test" to 150. I received a response saying "You can text the following codes to 150......". Then, I texted "AL" to 150 and ee returned text saying " Your current balance as of..... ". I used Fast To Up online and tried to top up 10GBP using my Debit card but failed with message from my bank saying that "Reverted - The merchant cancelled this transaction. You have not been charged"... What would be the possible reason?
