Sim activation

I'm new to EE, but I can't find the phone number to activate the sim....it's possible i threw it away with the paper.

The sim has a barcode that partially looks like a phone number, but with a 31 before the 7, i tried removing the 31 and adding a 0 before the 7, it appears to accept it on the website, but i  never get a text. (i.e 31732XXXXX -> 0732XXXXX)

I'm moving my existing number from another network anyway, but i can't even get the EE sim active.

hi,

thanks for your reply, I phoned them and they gave me the number.

it'd be easier if the printed it with the serial number.

after several phones calls, there appeared to be two main issues:

- my sim (that i got in the post directly from ee) was too old and had been locked.

- they have ICT issues that prevents me (and them!) from adding credit/monthly payment. and could take 2 weeks to fix.

Not the best start to moving network.

not having the phone number to activate to start with doesn't exactly help new customers either.
