Sim Card in not detectable in my phone

Kelso100

Hi everyone,

My SIM card stopped working around 1pm today. My phone said that there is no SIM in my phone so I have no service at all.

I have restarted the phone, removed the SIM and gave it a wipe, updated the iOS version on the phone and tried the SIM in another phone and still not working.

Currently waiting in the queue for the live chat.

I have an iPhone 12, currently in the UK and unable to phone 150 because I have no service.

I'm making an assumption that a new SIM card will be required.

Any help would be appreciated.

@Kelso100  Sounds like you need a replacement SIM card.  You can go to a EE store to request one but you’ll need in date photo ID with you or you can call customer support or use live chat.     At the time you posted this customer support was closed.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

EE-CS are available on 07953 966150 from any working phone, it need not be an EE one or a mobile.

Otherwise try an EE retail shop but make sure you have valid photographic ID - normally a UK drivers licence or passport I believe.
