I have recently upgraded my phone to 14 pro max, while transferring data accidentally clicked on Esim, now it is been two days without service, I been to two EE stores but no one can solve the problem contacted customer service twice same answer, technical team same reply.
they cannot issue a replacement card because the E sim was order which is supposed to be activated with 24 hours and until now not active.
I am out of my business from last two days , when I called customer service the answer is shop can replace the sim they are misguiding you and EE store don’t have such system to delete the Esim and issue a new SIM card
can anyone help to resolve this issue.

C. rang me at 19:39 when I was in the car - 10 minutes before the agreed time. I'd explained that I would not be availble until 19:50. C. asked whether it was possible to take the call early but I could not drive and talk so we agreed to resume at 19:50 as agreed. Unbelievably no call came at 19:50 only 10 minutes later. I sat with the phone until 20:30 knowing that C. finished at 20:15.
I rang customer services and spoke to J.
C. had left no notes on the call, no explanations or information even though I had been told that the help desk was open until 21:00 hrs. So I wasted an hour plus on EE calling me, or not calling me?
I was put on hold three times, just asking a single question. Although the call takers are perfectly focussed, the support is 'off the scale' ridiculously poor. It's understandable not being able to fix a technical fault but you need a good excuse to leave someone waiting for a call back for 40 minutes.
There might be reasons but both S. and C. have made broken promises and if they can't make it they haven't sent an email, a text or updated the notes. Now I'm waiting an unspecified time (asap) for C. to ring me back. J. sent an email.

I'm sorry to hear you were called at an unsuitable time. Did the advisors you've spoken to advise what actions they've taken? Are they waiting on a response from a support ticket that has been raised?

Hi, I have this issue too. I am unable to activate my esim, I cannot get text messages with the activation code.

Hi,
No I don't. I am locked out of my iPhone and need my mobile number active to activate and unlock it. So I'm a bit stuck. I have tried to activate an esim on my mother's phone, but it won't activate as I need my mobile number to activate it.
I have tried contacting support but get really confused with the options.

Is there a way to activate the eSim without a text message? Can this not be overridden?

Hi @ajchatts89,
You won't be able to activate a replacement SIM yourself without access to your old SIM to receive a security text.
Were you already using an eSIM in your old phone? If were using a physical SIM, you can swap it into your Mother's phone.

When I set up my iPhone 14 it automatically set up an eSim. So I am stuck. The physical sim doesn't work anymore.
