Need a replacement sim as current one is nano and need micro for replacement phone. If I order online, I have a couple of questions
1. Will it be a combi size sim that just pops out to required size?
2. Will it come loaded with the existing phone number (payg) if I use online form?
3. If ordering for elderly parent can I use my online account, or will I have to set up separate account for them?
4. How long from order to delivery of replacement sim, and will it work straight away?
many thanks for reading and advising 🤞

@Christopher_G you were so helpful last time, any advice?
Perhaps @Leanne_T can you advise, trying to get a response so I can help out my elderly parents to sort their phone (used for hospital appts. doctor and emergencies) . Thanks in advance.

Hi again, @Bevb62 🙂
I'll try and answer your questions:
1. Yes, it'll be a multi-SIM that pops out into micro and nano-SIM.
2. If you have ordered it as a replacement SIM card, it will be attached to your mobile number when it registers.
3. It is probably best for them to have their own account, but you can help them set it up.
4. It should arrive within 4 working days. You may need to call and register it when it arrives.

@Christopher_G - you are a ⭐️ thank you so much for all this information. It will help me get them going and reassure them to have their mobiles working again. Brilliant!

@Christopher_G @Just a quick final question, will the old sim continue to work in the old phone until I activate/register the different size replacement. (Unsure as they will both be same number). Thanks in advance.

It depends on the reason in which the SIM is requested, @Bevb62. Since it's just a different sized SIM, the old SIM card should continue to work in the mean time.

Since I managed to successfully order a replacement SIM, (which took about four attempts due to cookie settings) mum has had repeated text messages from EE with wording similar to “ if you are not currently discussing your account please phone …” . The first arrived upon my unsuccessful attempts at ordering, so now mum has had confirmation via email of her order I guess she doesn’t need to phone 150.As the SIM is still to arrive (ordered last Tuesday) I am holding out till after the bank holiday before phoning to chase it . Am I doing the right thing by telling mum not to phone 150 yet?

Hi @Leanne_T tried to phone 150 re the SIM, and as we didn’t understand the numerous text messages but the wait was an absolute age! Not to worry, we popped to our local EE Blackpool store and we were sorted within a couple of minutes. Sorry can’t remember the staffers name. Great service all round.

Thanks for letting us know.
