SIM not provisioned for voice

I bought a Lycamobile sim, and wanted to port it over to EE. I contacted EE support on twitter and they said they ported it over the number to the new EE sim I bought. It didn’t work. It’s been a week now and since yesterday I’ve been seeing SIM not provisioned for voice and neither SIMs work.

Also since this is my first time, do I keep the EE sim or the Lycamobile sim? I transferred my Lycamobile number to EE, so I assume I keep the EE sim as the number was used to replace the EE number?

Hi @neonu

Welcome to the community.

A number transfer from another network usually completes the following working day. The number should port from the other network leaving that SIM deactivated, you'll then have your old number on the EE SIM.

If it hasn't gone through fully, I recommend speaking to our Mobile Care team so they can look into it for you.

Should I wait till tomorrow since both sims went out of service yesterday? Maybe it was delayed

Could you restart them this morning please and let me know if they're working, @neonu?

Chris

Both still do not work

When I call the number I want to keep, I get 2 beeps, when I call the number that was on EE that I was using to bring my old number over, I get ‘You’ve dialed an incorrect number’

OK, thanks @neonu

I recommend speaking to our Mobile Care team so they can look into it further for you.
