Replacement Sim Card not working

Luke_player

I have been abroad for some time so was using a different physical sim and my British phone number stopped working. As such I got a new SIM card sent out to me. However now I have put the new SIM card back in and my phone still isn’t getting any service? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I really need access to my British number asap

Replacement SIMs can only be sent to the account holder's registered UK address, and they must first be used on the UK network before they will work abroad.

Is yours a PAYG or pay-monthly one?

Ah that is news to me, so someone would need to install another replacement sim in the uk and then send it to me again…

it is a pay monthly contract

Hi there @Luke_player

We are unable to guarantee replacement SIM cards will work abroad when they have not been fully activated on the EE network in the UK.

I would suggest giving us a call to make sure the SIM has been activated and roaming is fully set up on your account for you.

Leanne.
