Hi @Nemu
Could you try requesting the unlock on a different device or browser please?

EE sent me a new sim to replace original Orange sim in an Orange handset due to the shutting down of the 3G network
i had hoped that calls and sms would still work as not a user of the 3G data on this phone

If this is happening on more than one browser, I would recommend speaking to our Mobile Care team or popping into your nearest EE store.

Hi @Nemu
Is this the old or new Nokia? The new one is only GSM and likely coverage is limited on EE as they are 2G.
If this is the old 6310 you can get it unlocked online as these are an old OS, which EE will be unlikely to unlock buy you should be able to find a solution online.
Thanks

2G coverage shouldn't be an issue.
G1800 service should exceed that of EE's base 4G1800 layer.
It's only the 4G800 layer that exceeds existing 2G/3G coverage.
