I'm in Poland currently, can't call and recieve calls, roam is not activated as i understand, can't call to EE well, it will cost me a fortune, i've got 10 £ on my pay as you go acc, bank acc binded to it as well, can they just charge me 1.50 £ ? deliver it to my old address in UK, my mate will activate new sim card and send it over to me to Poland ?

Hi @savaon

Welcome to the community.

Did you use the EE SIM card on the EE network in the UK before travelling abroad?

If so, how long ago was the SIM last used?

Leanne 🙂

Hi,

Yeah, used about a week before flight.

I think problem is that contract for pay monthly has been terminated at 01.04 as I understand. New SIM card been already in the phone week before, I didn't send that message about roaming, but what is frustrating I can't order replacement for my mate UK address, at the beginning they was sending SMS to me I haven't got enough £, but there 10 💷 still on acc, now there is another problem. We can fly to the moon and back in this times, but I can't simple order a new SIM card from the other country! I'm sure the answer will be, I'm very sorry, but you have to travel back to UK to activate your roaming option.

Hi @savaon

Roaming is set up for pay as you go accounts as long as they are used on the EE network to make a call or send a text before travelling.

The replacement SIM card would go to the account address and need activated in the UK.

Leanne.

It takes 30 days to cancel a contract & before it is moved to PAYG. Did you use that PAYG SIM for making calls or texts in UK before you left to go abroad? EE PAYG SIMs need 1st activating on EE's home UK network before they can be used abroad. If it wasn't you can't now use it until you return to UK.

Doesn't matter anyway, you can't help me guys 🙂

Will have to ask my mate to call EE from UK, they will send new sim card, he will activate it and send it back to Poland.

Thank you
