I'm moving to EE from BT

Apparently BT are moving all their mobile customers to EE over time so I agreed (two mobiles, so two phone numbers/two AC codes) when asking about another issue with my BT broadband. I sent my PAC code over this morning, have set up my EE account but it shows the 'new' phone nu,bers. My mother has dementia and I can't be out of contact with her carehome. I've tried phoning - nothing in their menu gets me through to a real peron. I've tried online chat but it won't load (and I've tried more than one computer for this.

Does anyone know how long it takes them to move the old number back over, and does anyone have a phone number with real people answering the phone?

@LP13214   To speak with customer services select option 2 then select any option that you think is appropriate.    Numbers take 24 hours to port over so this should be completed by tomorrow.

Your account will show the number that’s associated with that SIM card and it’ll change when your number is ported over.   You can still make/receive calls via that number

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
