Porting number to EE

I've just recieved my new EE sim card, and when ordering it I entered the phone number I had from my old network and the PAC code to transfer the number. The new sim has arrived with a new number, do I need to transfer my old number again or will it automatically transfer in a few days.

It should port within 24 hours of receiving your SIM.
