I’m trying to port from Vodafone eSIM to ee physical sim. I’ve got the new ee sim and it’s in the phone but the number hasn’t ported across yet. I’ve spoken to ee and they say the sim hasn’t been fully activated and they can’t do it over the phone and that I need to go into an ee shop. Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes but in reverse…SIM to ESim. They told me the same - visit a shop. I’m a new customer and not impressed.

Did they manage to sort it for you in the shop? I can’t see why it I need to go into the shop though .🤷🏻♂️

It definitely seems odd that your SIM hasn't activated as it should do here; are you getting service to this with a temporary number, or are you getting no service full stop?

Do you have any SIM up and running right now, or did you struggle to initially download the eSIM?

Hi, I have signal and have been into my local we store who couldn’t help. It appears that somewhere the porting hasn’t been completed

Thanks for giving that a try @Paulchap1.
I'm disappointed to hear they couldn't get this sorted in branch, but it's sounding to me like the issue is more with the port than the SIM.
Has anyone helped you in escalating this further? We do have a dedicated team for all queries linked to number ports.
