iPhone 16 Pro eSim no service

Djsquid2017

I just bought an unlocked iPhone 16 Pro. During the setup, it asked if I wanted to transfer a physical SIM to an eSIM, so I did and followed the instructions, etc.

But I've got 'No Service' showing, restarted the device and still nothing.

So I popped my physical SIM in, and it said I had 2 mobile plans. The Primary was 00000000, and the Secondary was my existing number. So I deleted the primary one, and there is still no service.

Restarted device several times, removed sim card several times and still No service. But I can't call or text EE as I've got no service 😂

Hello @Djsquid2017 ,

Welcome to the community,

Did you get a QR code when transferring your physical SIM card to an ESim?

You will otherwise have to contact customer service to get this sorted. You can do so by using Skype for free, see my signature.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using Skype or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

Experiencing similar situation here, move my sim to my new iPhone 16 pro max, turn the phone on and off, reinserting the sim, still got no service 🤦🏻‍♀️

Hey, @yumidavies , I spoke with Tech support, and apparently, I've ended up wiping my SIM card despite following the instructions. So I've got an appointment tomorrow at the EE store for a new sim which they can put my existing number back onto. I'd suggest going into a store if you can. I thought an eSIM would make life easier but I guess not.

Hi @Mex25,

Welcome to the EE Community

I am sorry to hear you are having an issue with your new phone. Is it only calls you are having an issue with or do you have No Service like the original poster?  Was this after switching to an eSIM?
