Hi, I have a sim only deal with ee but the contract length is up. I want to leave and take my number with me but my phone has disabled itself as the screen needs replacing. I cant accept the link that they are sending me and i cant get on my emails as its sending a number to my phone. Any advice? Im on an old iphone 11 plus pro max and don't want to spend ££ on a new screen, Thank you!

It is a PAC code you need to request to switch to another network and keep your number.

You can get this by texting the word PAC to 65075 (its free) or by calling EE on 150 and going through to the cancellations team. I believe there is also a way to get it through your App by going into settings and permissions and looking for the option in there.

When you give the PAC code to your new provider, they will port the number and your EE contract will be cancelled once the number moves across, you should not cancel any Direct Debits as this may either mess up the port or result in you missing out on a credit depending on your billing.

You could insert your SIM card into a spare phone if you have one or a friend or family member does to make the text/call.
