New sim fitted to mobile. Logged into account online through pc. Entered mobile ,received code, inserted code, entered serial number and pressed activate. Received message there is a problem.

Hello Lesley.
The previous sim was a pay as you go from Asda which is now expired.

If this is a brand new SIM with us, it shouldn't need activated with a code. Is it pay as you go with us as well?
