When I send a test via messages it is displaying the original sim card number and not my transferred number. How do I fix?

I've got the same problem and I've had all sorts of problems because services can't verify my account through security to my new number. It's been going on for ages now and I've been charged for phone calls that I have not made.

Xiaomi Poco F5 Pro Leanne. I've just rang EE and they are sending me out a replacement SIM but thanks for your reply x
