Text messages showing wrong number

I moved from o2 to EE and my original phone number from o2 is supposed to be up and working. Phone calls are showing my number but text messages are showing the EE number so no one knows who my texts are from. I've changed the number on the sim in sim management settings but still the same. 

How do you fix this? 

Ive been, waiting two days for two different managers to phone me as promised to sort out the sim issue and also a problem were they moved my account to a different person and said it wasn't my account (huge data breach) but no one will phone me! 

Also, tried on online chat and it said I had a five minute wait (that was yesterday around six o'clock) and still waiting for a reply. It won't let me message again it says it's unavailable. 

Regretting moving to EE as so many problems and no one will help.

When exactly did you port-in? If you send a text to yourself using your ported-in number, does it arrive? Try texting NUMBER to 150, do you receive the expected response?

Depending on the answers to these questions, reporting the problem to CS on 150 is absolutely the right thing to do - although it's a technical escalation you likely need, not necessarily CS managers.
