My number transferred over today and was working fine until an hour ago. Now when i go to imessage there is just a spinning circle next to my number and i have tried resetting and turning it off and resetting network settings and it has still not worked. Most of the time it just says activation unsuccessful or an error has occured and sometimes i click on the phone number and nothing happens.

When you go to Contact > My Card, is the correct number showing?

It shows my actual number and the number the eSIM came with. The iMessage worked for a while again about an hour ago and now it’s doing the same thing again.

We recommend it can take up until midnight for a number port to fully complete, so now we've passed over to the next day, are you still facing the same issues?
If you haven't already I would now recommend removing your Three SIM, then try checking the settings that @Rach_H mentioned again.
