Hi

i  am wondering if you can take your number to another network and still stay on ee with a new number.
 
it just the signal is low where are commuters to 

but would cost to much to port out

You may port your existing no. to another network & take out a new EE no. but there's no question of the new contract replacing the old. If the ported no. is still within its contract's min. term you will be liable to pay exit fees for it.

Using a PAC serves two purposes. 1: Ports your number to a new network, 2: Cancels your existing line with EE.

The two parts of the process are inseparable, your number is also linked to the account.

Not sure what you mean by "where are commuters to"
