Newbie Here = PAYG Sim Questions

I'm a long-time GiffGaff user but I have been having issues with poor signal & my internet cutting out until I turn flight mode on & off to get it working again.

I am looking at moving networks as I am sick of it now - it has been going on since roughly May time. O2 have confirmed that they had mast issues in my area months back which are apparently now sorted but it still isn't working very well. I have also tried factory resetting my device and following Samsung support.

Before I come over to EE I am just wondering what my options are  before I agree to any 12 or 24 month sim only contracts. What is the easiest way for me to get onboard with EE and try the network/signal out for a few days to rule out a faulty device? If I have to agree to a contract what are the options for cancelling if I am still having issues?

Thank you 🙂

On contract, if you ordered by phone or online you always have a statutory cooling-off period up to 14 days after delivery to cancel your order FoC. If you ordered in-store you have no such "change-of-mind" right of return.
