New sim

Hi, I got my new phone on Sunday and my (at the time) sim wasn’t working so I’ve ordered a replacement. How long does it normally take to arrive? I can’t access my online banking as they need to send a pin to my mobile number, have no way to make any phone calls to the bank and can’t access the bank during my working hours. I’ve money that needs to be moved over which I cannot do and I’m getting super worried it won’t come in time.

Welcome to the Community!

When you order a replacement SIM, there are a couple of ways this can be sent out; in some circumstances this will be pre-activated with your number, or in others it will be blank and we'll activate your service later. 

How was it you requested this? 

Also does your existing SIM still work in your previous phone, or has this stopped working full stop?

I requested it Sunday going through EE on my web browser, the SIM card I
had has completely stopped working now, it was the only way I could request
it as I’ve no means to contact EE any other way

It sounds like this has been sent out as a pre-activated SIM, so this will be active once you receive it, but I can understand your worry about not receiving this in time.

Are you able to pop into an EE store, with some photo ID, so we can get you sorted with an EE SIM on the spot?

Unfortunately not as I work from 8-5 every day and am away this weekend. I
was hoping it would turn up today as I need to move money over to
ironically enough, make sure my phone bill is paid.
