I ordered a sim card online this morning and  entered my PAC code to keep my old number but on the email it says the number will be transferred within 24 hours? This will be before the SIM arrives?

Can someone explain the process of this when the new SIM arrives do I still use old SIM until number transferred? How will I know transfer complete?

It will only start the port once you receive & activate your EE SIM. It will take up to 1 working day to complete the port. In the meantime your no. remains on the old SIM.
