Linking order with phone number I do not have

Hi, 

I recently got a sim only contract and have been trying to link the product to my account to activate the eSIM following the emails steps. I got a PAC code that I gave to the guide when getting the sim over the phone. It tells me to link the product using the number in the email (the new number that will be changed) and when it does it sends a code to this number that I have no access to because the eSIM isn't active. I'm not sure whether the PAC will take effect but I have tried with my current number and it comes up with an error saying I don't have the correct details.

Welcome to the EE Community

The eSIM should not require separate linking with a PIN to download the eSIM because as you say you won't be able to receive it. It would be the temporary number you use from the email to first setup, your PAC code transfer of your actual number wont begin until you first activate the SIM. 

If you have not been able to download the SIM using the instructions in the confirmation email I would recommend getting in touch with our team who will be able to help complete setup so that you can download the eSIM.
