I had a call from an 0800 number stating someone not from my area had requested a replacement sim, and they were calling as it may be fraudulent.
I confirmed it wasn’t me, they send an MyEE message with a pin that I inputted into my phone and since then all my signal has gone. I am unable to make calls or texts, is this a scam?
I am currently on hold to EE but it’s really hard to get in touch with them without a phone that has signal

Good afternoon @GLottie2.
Welcome back to the Community!
As @XRaySpeX has mentioned, it sounds like someone has possibly attempted access to your account and requested a replacement SIM or PAC to switch networks.
You've definitely made the right call in trying to get in touch with our team, as they'll be able to advise on exactly what has happened here, and how we can ensure your details are safe.
If you're struggling to get through, you can also call from another network / landline on 07953 966 150, or alternatively if you visit one of our retail stores they can assist you with this too.
It's also potentially worth highlighting this with the Police via Action Fraud, and also make sure that all the rest of your accounts such as banking and email are secure too.

@GLottie2 : Looks like it. Looks like you've given access to your MyEE a/c & your no. to an unsolicited caller.
