How long porting takes?

Just submitted porting request to bring number from Tesco to EE. In reply I received message saying porting will take place on 30/06. It's 3rd today so 4 weeks waiting?

Is it normal?

Sounds like you've receive a standard holding text message with the default porting date of 30days out.

If you submitted the PAC before approx 5pm today 03/06, the port-in should occur tomorrow 04/06. Contact CS on 150 if you want to be sure - the worst case should be PAC missing today's deadline so an extra working day added.
